I had submitted my application and resume online and got an email the next day asking to schedule an interview. Within the time between scheduling and the actual interview I mostly looked on this website for insight as to what to expect when I am there. The questions are pretty much the same as everything that is on here from "Why do you want to work at Macy's?" to "What would you do if you say an employee or customer acting suspiciously?" The woman I interviewed with was very nice, friendly, and easy going. In general if you want to have a good interview I'd say get there around ten minutes early, make sure you go over in your head what you would say to the questions posted on this website, and be natural. They like honest people who aren't shy and nervous. Try to be welcoming to any person you see while you're going to or waiting for your interview as well, I actually met my interviewer downstairs before I even knew who she was.

Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
