Me postulé a través de otra fuente. El proceso tomó 4 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Macy's (New York, NY) en dic 2012
Entrevista
I received interest from Macy's because I was given a recruiters contact information from my school. I had 2 phone interviews, and 2 online aptitude tests before being offered the opportunity to interview in New York.
I went to this interview very confident because I am not only a UCLA graduate but I was the only person there that had a second degree from FIDM in the field of buying. Anyway, they first have a small introduction about the company and it's history and ask everyone to join but answering some questions. Next you are broken off into groups that went through the interviews in different orders. I first had 2 one-on-one interviews, then the math retail test and last the group case study. I felt like I was well prepared and gave good answers but i guess the fact that I was not a merchant assistant before/intern got in the way of receiving an offer. About 80% of the people in this interview process, at least in my group, were from within.
I also think the person who interviewed me and was the observer in our case study group, did not like me for whatever reason. I am not saying this as an excuse but I do feel like they did not like me which is fine!

If you could choose one thing you don't like about our store that we should change (a sort of criticism) what would it be? (I am not sure what the wording exactly was)
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
