Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en MX (Salt Lake City, UT) en ago 2020

      Entrevista

Phone screen - I had an Initial phone screen with with MX's technical recruiter shortly after applying for the role . I had a really comfortable and casual conversation about the company, the role, and my own background/experience. From there the recruiter let me know that they would be passing my information along to some of the leadership within the department for review. Hiring manager phone interview - I heard back a few days later to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. My interview with the hiring manager was more technical and was going over the information and background according to my resume. The interview was conducted in a very friendly and conversational format as well. Panel/Onsite(Zoom due to Covid-19) interview - I meet with 4 different people during my panel interview. The first person in my panel was a team lead for the department I would be working in. The second person in the panel was someone who was in leadership role that works in a different department. Both of these portions were more to see if I was a cultural fit. The final portion of the panel was with two other engineers who also work in the department. This final portion lasted the longest and was much more technical. The entire panel was a great experience and I really enjoyed how friendly and welcoming everyone was. MX does a great job at gauging your technical ability, and then adjusting the interview accordingly. There was no white boarding. Onsite(Zoom due to Covid-19) leadership interview - This was the final interview in the process. I meet with two people who were in leadership roles that work in a different department. This interview was very non-technical and was more to learn about my experiences and how I aligned with MX. These were insightful conversations and I was able to learn about both of their career paths within the company. Offer - I was sent an offer the day after my final interview. Overall I really enjoyed the interview process from start to finish. It was refreshing compared to other companies that I was currently interviewing with and at no point did it feel like an interrogation. The process is long, but MX really cares about finding candidates who closely align with their mission. It's also worth mentioning that the recruiter I was working with was friendly, transparent, and easy to get in touch with.
