Initial phone interview with HR followed by phone interview with hiring manager. Invited for an interview. This consisted of meeting with 8 or so individuals in the program and a 30 minute presentation of my own research to 10 or 15 individuals. Interviews weren't difficult at all, presentation was a little nerve wracking but a good experience.

The whole process takes months. So at the outset I'd warn people against holding out any hope in getting the interview process done quickly. I had an interview with HR initially, then met the hiring manager and his team. I had to present one of the research topics I worked on. Got great feedback during the interview. and then they ghosted for 4 months. No notification if they are interested or not. I moved on with other offers as it was not worth waiting that long to work at an Institute that just preaches core values but dont put it into action. I am so happy I chose to go elsewhere. This place is just not worth it if you want to do serious research
