A three man panel consisting of two Hiring managers and a HR manager. Quick chit chat to break the ice and straight into it. Interview started by them asking about me and what I do outside work/in my spare time.
Then they asked about what I know about the company (make sure you do your research, use company website, linkedin profile etc... the more time you spent with these the better). Make sure you do your research on the company core values and it might be a good idea to come up with an example scenario for each core values
Then we moved on to my current role, what my understanding was about the role I applied for, skills and experience I could bring to the table etc. Spoke about my PhD, why I am thinking of leaving my current role, why I want to work for MBDA, where I see myself in 5 years time etc etc.
Then the last section was competency based questions from the HR manager. This was more of a give me an example when.... type questions.
Some technical discussions at the very end. Make sure you show enthusiasm, ask questions etc.. The whole interview took almost 2hrs
