Interview with a lovely lady who makes you feel comfortable straight away and you can tell is actually a nice person. This is then followed by the directors coming in, who try to sell the business in a terrible way: “we have people crying in the toilets in their first weeks”... great? “We don’t care if you’re ill”, “we don’t care if your dog dies”, they basically say they want you to go into work even if you have a valid reason which is just immature. Really couldn’t believe they said these things. They do some roleplay which is fine, e.g get through to someone on the phone, how to sell someone something etc. Got offered a second interview but declined as I knew I would be completely miserable working with the directors. As you can see from the glassdoor reviews that clearly it was one of them who left the 5*.
