My experience with this company was truly odd. I was first interviewed for a photo editing job at mDesign in 2020, and I thought we had a nice chat. I never heard back. It happens. A couple years later, in 2022, I saw the job I had applied for had reopened, so I sent in another resume. I was scheduled for a phone screening, and when the interviewer was 15 minutes late for the call, I sent a message, asking if we needed to reschedule. She called me, saying she had mis-dialed my number the first time. She also indicated she was in a hurry as she had another interview in 15 minutes. Since she was rushing me through my interview and seemed distracted, I took a gamble and mentioned I had talked to the company the previous year. I figured I had nothing to lose at this point, as she seemed pretty uninterested in me — until I mentioned the previous interview! She said she would check with the hiring manager to see why I had never heard back in 2020, as I had the required skillset. A day later, I was told the hiring manager remembered me from the previous year, but claimed I had said the salary was too low. I never said any such thing! The salary was fine! So we had another Zoom call, and once again, we had a nice chat. Then I was ghosted a second time. I finally reached back out, and I was told they had hired someone else.
