Entrevista
The company sends you an invitation to take a test in your subject area of expertise. Then, based on test scores, the company makes an offer to join the tutoring team. If interested, the tutor receives instructions to complete a few quick sessions with quizzes on pedagogy and best practices. Once complete, the tutor coordinator invites you to a practice tutoring session. The session is reviewed and discussed. The last step is setting up technical specs on your personal computer.

Taking the tests were the most relevant portion to getting an offer. The company hires experienced tutors who are well educated and whose resumes reflect expertise in their field of study.

The process took about 4 days. Took an English test and was told my score would determine if I could continue into the position. Basic grammar and punctuation is necessary, as well as being able to make marks on a paper that needs to be edited.
