Truly awful experience. Have a PhD in Education and have tutored special education kids for the past 7 years and they asked me to take a spelling test? Then I had to take some kind of logic test. I fail to see what any of those testing methods have to do with your ability to tutor students with learning problems. Very corporate interview with nasty interviewer who was very rude and impolite when I asked to use the bathroom.

There is an online spelling and reading assessment (done in a group) with a follow-up in person interview with the center director at the location you apply to. You should hear from HR roughly 24 hours after completing the online assessments regarding next steps.

There are 2 literacy exams and had a follow-up to meet with the center for a more formal interview asking about experience with education, tutoring, or any kind of childcare.

A lot of personality questions and a “technical” interview which involved. Spelling test and a reading comprehension test that had increasingly difficult passages. I would say they felt closes to the act ELA section
