Initial meeting was a behavioral interview with a C level executive. The conversation went well, I enjoyed talking with them. It appeared to be a positive interview.
Second round interview was a take-home assessment. The assessment was expected to take between four and eight hours. I was told I would be compensated for my time at an hourly rate. After submitting the assessment, a member of their team would review it and schedule a time afterwards to go over the review. This round also went well. It appeared to be a positive response, as I was told it was one of the better submissions they had received and reviewed.
After that meeting, I received no more communication. I reached out to the c-level, as well as the assessor, both with no response. I’m disappointed because I really enjoyed speaking with them and their location in the city is desirable. I’m also displeased they said they’d compensate me for time spent on the take home and have since gone back on their word.
