I spoke with a recruiter who was doing an interest interview to understand what type job I was looking for and gauging whether they had current openings which were a mutual fit. They didn't currently have any openings for the type role I was looking for but we narrowed down where I would be the best fit and they were going to contact me when an opening came up.
