I was reached out to by a "talent advisor" from the company gauging my interest in a contract position for a "Top Notch Pharma" client. A few hours after responding, a woman with a thick Indian accent called me and introduces herself as the advisor who had contacted me earlier. During the interview, I learned that the client was someone affiliated with College Board, not pharmaceutical. A "mistake" labeling emails on her end. Despite this, I was still interested in the position and continued the interview. Afterward, I emailed her my resume and sign a right to represent. I was told to expect a response back from her within 48hrs, and if the client reached out to me then relay to them that I was working with the advisor to avoid duplicated paperwork/resumes. Over a week later and still no response. This is highly unprofessional and dishonest. I firmly believe that the company largely collects candidates and submits very few applications/resumes after signing their right to represent, to prevent candidates from using competing companies /agencies that could've submitted it instead. Don't fall for this company's bait & switch!
