My first interview was a phone interview because I was applying for a position out of state and it was so bad I didn't expect a second interview or any offer after that. The lady I interviewed with was extremely dull and unenthused. She probably couldn't have acted like she hated her job more if she tried. I received an e-mail shortly after my first interview requesting another interview but it didn't state anything regarding the position or who it would be with so I didn't know if it was a follow up interview or for a completely different position entirely (serious lack of information was provided throughout my entire interaction with their HR department). For the second time I had to clarify that I was out of state and it would have to be a phone interview. This time I interviewed with the actual hiring manager and he was much more pleasant and seemed to actually care about the interview process. He informed me that the next step would be to fly me out to Wisconsin for a phone interview and HR would be in contact with me shortly in order to schedule flight information etc. I received an E-mail a few days later from the first lady I interviewed with and there was nothing attached regarding a flight or travel plans so for the THIRD time I reminded her I was out of state and needed further instruction when it came to scheduling an in person interview. She responded with driving directions to the facility and a meeting time of 8am. I for the FOURTH time told her where I currently reside (which is clearly NOT within driving distance) and asked for further information regarding flights and travel expenses. Four days later she sent me a reimbursement form that basically stated I was in charge of booking my own flight through their travel agency. I tried doing so only to find out the only flights available for the date and time she scheduled my interview would get me there well after 8am. Even if a flight would have been available she essentially expected me to get to the airport in my area at 1am in order to catch my flight, fly to WI to get there by 7am and be ready to interview with zero prep time at 8am. So basically their HR department SUCKS, show ZERO interest in their job and are completely incompetent. I ultimately told them I was no longer interested in the position because if I had this much trouble communicating when it came to a simple travel plan for an interview I didn't even want to begin dealing with all the more important things that would come along once I got hired.
