Verwirrend und enttäuschend. I was contacted for an interview the day after I had submitted my application; a great sign of course and I was really looking forward to it. However, at the time of the interview I was sitting in the MS Teams call, waiting to be admitted by the host and no one showed up. Thinking that it may have been related to some technical issue, I tried contacting the recruiter but without any response. I didn't receive any errors though, so assumed something may have gotten in the way of the interview last minute from the company side. If that was the case though, would have expected some courtesy communication from the recruiter of course. Later on I received a response apologizing for the incident and that perhaps a technical issue indeed occurred and we could meet another day. The next meeting, same thing happened, I was waiting to be admitted and no one was around. I tried calling the recruiter several times without success and only received one response to my email that stated he was having technical difficulties and would call me back immediately. Unfortunately, he never contacted me back. I tried calling again and emailing, without any further response. In both cases I waited for an entire hour for him, all for it to unfortunately be a waste of time. The company seemed super interesting and working culture and benefits seem great, but this experience is severely unprofessional and honestly completely incomprehensible considering the seeming interest in my profile given their immediate invitation for an interview. Hopefully this was an outlier case but nonetheless, a very disappointing experience and poor impression.
