      Cult Recruiting!! The whole purpose of the interview is to se if you fit into their wierd little cult. No technical Questions. Round One: You send an email to HR with a Resume and cover letter Round Two: Someone from Hr gets back to you. Now you have to read a link on their site about the company culture and ask three questions which they never answer. Basic idea is we work you to death but we give you free food because somehow that makes it ok round Three: You set up a phone interview where they ask you the same stupid pointless questions every company asks. Why should we hire you? why do you want to work here? Why did you get in IT? Why are you looking for a new job? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Tell me about yourself. Can we stop pretending people work for any reason other then to survive? Round four: If they like your answers to the standard dumb questions you provide a writing sample. Mine was a bit vague. for me they asked to write a general email to a company stating all the SSID and passwords have been changed and there will be an outage. No indication if you are to attach instructions or what the encryption standard and keys are. You also take a personality test just to be sure you are cult material. Round 5: I was not cult material.

      Entrevista

      The interview process is a lengthy one. The longest I've experienced. While interviewing, I thought it was excessive, but came to realize it's actually a very necessary step in cultivating the environment Kinetix takes so much pride in. I interviewed for a week, meeting and having lunch with employees at various levels. I then worked on a trial basis as a contractor for two weeks, at the end of which was a meeting to decide if I was in. From the outside, this can sound intimidating or daunting, but from within... I get it. And I appreciate it. This will be the first of many challenges presented by Kinetix, each more challenging than the last. With greater difficulty, comes greater reward. Greater pride. As an interviewee, I suggest you interview with integrity. Be honest with those asking the questions, but above all else be honest with yourself and what you want. If you're not, you'll find out very quickly.
