I applied online for the position. I got a call about a week later to do a phone interview. It went well, the lady thought I did great and that she would push my application through. A week later she emailed me saying she lost all of the questions I answered (she was typing during the phone interview) and she asked me to email her back my responses. I didn't mind, I understand technology has its flaws. Over a month later, they sent me an email stating they hired someone else. By this time I had already landed a job. I can tell by this experience that this bank is very unorganized. The whole process from when I applied and from when I received a response took two months.

Entrevista
The recruiter did not sound interested throughout the whole interview and asked borderline offensive questions. A little background: I was unemployed for a while due to layoffs. I guess the recruiter did not like the fact that there were gaps in my work history and asked me if I am still unemployed? How would I support myself financially if I weren't employed? What am I trying to get out of being a teller? Is this really appropriate for a phone screening? I got a rejection a week after the phone interview.

One in person interview with hiring manager. Asks a multitude of questions regarding my banking experience, customer service experience, handling confidentiality, etc. Situational questions regarding disgruntled customers. Handling working relationship questions as well.

Phone call with recruiter shortly after applying (about 3 days), meeting with supervisor about a week later. Job offered that day over the phone and started the next week. Pretty straightforward the entire way
