Didn’t even get to the interview stage, and the HR admin was already showing a rude attitude to applicants like me. I politely asked if there was any chance to switch my upcoming Monday interview to a virtual one for the first stage (since I had just returned to my hometown the night before, and it would have been an 11-hour journey back to Singapore just for a first-round interview). To my surprise, the HR admin simply replied with “Nope.” So rude and unprofessional. Still, I tried to remain polite and responded that I would pass on the opportunity and thanked him. Two hours later, he replied again saying that I should have stated I wanted an online interview when I first submitted my application, so they wouldn’t have “wasted time” assessing it. Whoa. Mind blown at such a lousy attitude. Honestly, I feel blessed I didn’t even get to the actual interview with them.

Interviewer was rude and unprofessional. Interview conducted through WhatsApp and all communications was through WhatsApp. Does not respect candidate and make you feel like you are beneath them. Rude and unnecessary questions asked. Not a company that I would like to work for, and definitely needs to review their personnels. We may be seeking a job with your company but we deserve respect too.
