Interview went well but was expected to do a test that they said would take 4-10 hours. Way to long in my opinion! No one should be expected to take a test that could take a whole work day! My past experiences were not taken into consideration (built multiple websites in the past, big and small) and I was asked for no references. My test was done but was told I just recreated what was given. Like I said before, 4-10 test is way to extreme and past experiences and references should be taken into consideration. I see the job posting all the time. Either they are hiring all the time (1. Expanding or 2. People don’t stay long) or their test to too extreme and no one wants to take all that time out of their day unless desperate for a job and even then they seem picky. They should really trust experience and references opposed to making potential hires do a days test to possibly get a job. Also, re-evaluate the test process

1. HR pre-screen phone interview 2. interview with the hiring manager 3. technical test (takes 3-4hrs) 4. technical test feedback meeting with designers 5. interview with VP and manager, personality questionnaire Overall experience was not bad. The interviewers were willing to answer my questions. Feedbacks were helpful. There were multiple stages in the interview and the whole process took more than one month.
