Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Johnson Controls (Waynesboro, PA) en sept 2012
Entrevista
The interview process was pretty average. I had to bring projects that worked on. They gave me a run down on how things worked. I sat down with the director of the group with whom I would be working and talked about the components of the job that I would be performing. After that it was a meeting with my would be manager for me to ask questions about the position. I finally met with the principal engineer who asked me some questions about my experience.
Long process but nothing atypical. Flexible and respectful of my time. Remote interviews were seamless. I felt as though they wanted to get to know me more than just my skillset which is appreciated

What’s one lesson you’ve learned and would apply to any subordinate teachings
Initially, a time slot was selected. After some days when the interview was supposed to take place, the interviewer didn't appear. The interviewer was contacted and I was asked to suggest new time slots, for the interview to take place, which I did. The next day a rejection letter was received, without the interview taking place.

The interview process typically includes an initial screening call, then multiple rounds of technical interviews to evaluate skills and experience, and concludes with an HR discussion covering compensation, role expectations, and joining details.
