Everyone I encountered at Jobber was friendly and respectful. Seems like a nice culture where people are motivated and producing good work. The interview process wasn't particularly fast or clearly articulated from the start, so there is room for improvement there. In the end I probably had 3 distinct interview conversations. One interview was solely dedicated to "culture" fit, where you sit in a room with people who no nothing about you, who you wouldn't work with in your day-to-day role, and these people will be able to determine whether you get the job (or not). You aren't told what they'll be measuring you on, despite the fact it's obvious that they have very particular questions to fill on their computers. I have a hard time understanding how this process of cultural whitewashing attracts diversity? A tip to succeed here: be sweet, soft spoken, don't talk about yourself, don't show too much personality, just be introverted.
