Everything went smoothly until the very end. Had a call (with a very nice and efficient) recruiter, then 3 interviews with different stakeholders in the company. The final step was a "personality" interview with a co-founder. Except it was absolutely not a personality interview, nor a professional one. It was a rather bizarre experience. The interviewer clearly DEEPLY stalked my Linkedin, and asked stuff like "So, what was the name of the person you worked with 4 years ago? Was it ?". And other completely inappropriate questions the likes of which I've never seen (and had zero relation to my personality or skills). I was understandably taken aback and got a rejection later on. No big loss there - I would've declined anyway given that last interview.
