Referred by an employee. First round phone interview then superday at their New York office. Two rounds of interviews with two Jefferies' employees. Heard back within a few days that I didn't get an offer.

Basic technical questions asked (accounting, valuation methods). Some questions they asked merely to throw you off (What are your 5 greatest weaknesses, why don't you have a 4.0 GPA) so be prepared for that. Have a few stories where you showed teamwork, leadership, and being able to respond to senior management.
The interview process consisted of a phone screen, a first round interview, and finally a superday. This was all conducted via zoom and the process was relatively quick. It was roughly two weeks from start to finish.

While the content remained standard for investment banking—focusing on typical technical and behavioural questions—the overall length was disappointing. I found the timeline unnecessarily long compared to other firms, which impacted my overall candidate experience.

Interviewed with SVP, 2 VPs, Associate, and analyst over 1 week and received offer within 3 weeks. Technical questions were industry specific and behavioral ones focused on capacity to work long hours and desire to work at Jefferies in the specific group.
