I had a great phone screen interview with the recruiter. I was told I’d be moving forward to speak with the hiring manager and that they would be in touch to set up a time. I did not hear back after following up - complete radio silence. Finally, after multiple weeks I received an automated email stating I wouldn’t be moving forward due to the position being filled. Really unfortunate and I wish there had been more communication and transparency to let me know sooner that I was no longer being considered. Jamf sounded like a great company and I don’t feel that the interview process aligned with that.

The process for me was seamless. First, I met with the Sr. Corporate Recruiter and she was a breath of fresh air. She asked me some questions pertaining to my experience and then we discussed the benefits Jamf offers. Going into the interview I was very transparent and explained that I am currently in the final stages of interviews with another company. After the interview I quickly discovered Jamf would be the company I chose as my first choice. The next day I received a notice from them saying they would like to move on to the next step which was an interview with the hiring manager. I was excited because Jamf aligned with my mission and values. I really wanted to be a part of a company that makes a difference in the world. The hiring manager told me about all the great projects Jamf has going on and what they are doing as an organization. She explained the issues they face and how they need someone to assist with helping out with those issues. She was professional the whole time and never did I feel rushed. She even explained next steps and if chosen who I would meet next. This was great because I felt like I would really be able to make an impact if chosen for the position. That night as crazy as it sounds I hopped on my confluence and did a full mock up of some of the issues we discussed and solutions. I would be ready to present it to the directors of the company. Unfortunately, the next day I got the news no one wanted to hear. We have decided to move on with other candidates. While my dream was shortly lived I could not have asked for a better experience with the interview process. It was informative, professional on all levels, and very fast. I believe that Jamf had transparency that was unmatched from any company that I have interviewed with. They followed up and did not keep me in the wait / guessing game and I respect them for this. It is very hard when you think you are so close and then start back and square one so I appreciate them giving me a head start by not keeping me waiting for a decision.
