First of all, I concur with the reviewer above who says Jask's engineering interview process is fantastic. It was one of the best I've had, with just one tarnishing aspect, detailed below. From the time I arrived for the on-site, I knew cerebrally that I was being evaluated but from start to finish, it felt like I was simply hanging out with friendly professional acquaintances, shooting the breeze about software. They've put a lot of thought into getting the right signal from candidates and it shows. The one negative about the interview was that I was a little disappointed that the internal recruiter completely ghosted on me after my on-site. After my initial contact with an external recruiter, nearly all of my interactions, including scheduling travel and onsite itineraries, were with the internal recruiter. I dealt with them all the way until I left the on-site and was told, "I'll call you with feedback next week." I never heard from them again and just got a message from the external recruiter. Pretty lame ending to an otherwise great interview experience.
