It followed a typical structure, including an initial call with the recruiter, a conversation with the team lead, and a technical interview. The 1-on-1 interviews went fine and it was quite interesting to hear about the company. In my view, the technical interview could have been better prepared and structured by the interviewer. All scenarios were presented verbally, and the questions provided limited opportunities for deeper discussion, as they seemed to have pre-determined answers. Additionally, several questions focused on specific aspects of framework which you can answer right only if you have read the documentation on the subject in depth. If not, good luck. Some code scenarios were posed verbally on the spot, which, while relevant, were quite confusing due to inconsistent explanation. Overall, some questions were appropriate but the presentation could have been improved to allow for a more engaging, discussion driven dialogue. I provided feedback on the interview format, as requested, but it appears my feedback was not appreciated. Nonetheless, I was told that the company would like to send me an offer. However, I felt hesitation from the recruiter and been told that I should reconsider if I want to apply to this position. While waiting for the offer, I was informed that the decision was reversed, with the reason cited as not being a "cultural fit". The latter part of the application process was quite unprofessional with little regard to candidates time.

First round with recruiter, second round with team lead. No take home assignment. Few basic technical questions. Quite a chill conversation. However, it seems like they don’t really know what they’re looking for. They use technology X and Y and want people who can answer specific questions of those. You’ll only know those answers if you ever read the documentations. And then they don’t have balls to clearly state the rejection’s reasons. Feedback is given, but pretty vague and contradictory.
