Went through the normal process and applied for the position on LinkedIn. The corporate recruiter reached out to me to schedule sometime to talk to her. I told her my career interests and what interested me about the job. After our interests were aligned I was told to give some availability to speak with the IT director over a phone call. The Director called me a day ahead of when we were scheduled to speak and I was unable to pick up the call. I called back and left a voicemail and emailed and recruiter to follow up. End of the day I simply got an email saying that they had decided to pursue more experience candidates without even seeing what I had to offer.
