I recently had an interview at Intuit for the position of Staff Software Engineer and it was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had. Firstly, the interviewer was 10-12 minutes late, and I was about to write an email to the recruiter for the reason for the no-show of the interviewer. This already set a negative tone for the interview. Throughout the interview, it was clear she was in a hurry. She rushed through every question, barely giving me a chance to provide thorough answers, and interrupted in almost every answer. Any attempt to elaborate on my skills or experience was met with a quick, impatient and arrogant nod or a prompt to move on to the next question. To make matters worse, she was chatting with her colleague in the middle of an interview. Throughout the 45-minute interview, she was on a bad internet connection and after the first 15 min, she turned her video off to make the call better. This happened multiple times, breaking the flow of our conversation and making it difficult to maintain any sense of professionalism or focus. Overall, the experience felt rushed and disorganized, leaving me with a very poor impression of Intuit. It was disappointing to be treated in such a dismissive and unprofessional manner. I hope they improve their interview process to reflect the values they claim to uphold.

After the initial round of coding, I didn't hear back from the recruiter. I followed up with her a couple of times but she didn't even bother replying to my emails. So don't waste your time with them. And the actual interview went well.
