Recruiter Call Code Challenge Phone Interview Onsite f2f ------- Recruiter call was nothing special,but I got to say this recruiter is a little unorganized I had to keep on emailing him to ask for feedback and get the process moving. Code challenge was to present a 3rd party api call data. Phone Interview, went ok.... the person on the other side pasted some js questions and asked me the o/p (hoisting... es6...), no feedback from him not very friendly... but I answered all of them right so got a f2f. f2f was completely hostile.... 4 people in the room with my pc connected to a projector, the question was to present some data after filtering data from a 3rd party api call. I started working but every few minutes/seconds one guy on the panel kept messing with my logic... as if he wanted me to fail... I kept punting his comments and worked on my code, by the end of 45min my code was working, 15min of break and other 45min of that rude guy judging me again, I could see that he has no respect for his colleagues too....and then carried on 1-1 with the product manager and manager. I could tell right away something was wrong as they did not ask me any questions and kept on asking me if I had any questions. After 1week I had to reach out to them only to hearI was rejected. Well few things from myside: - the process was unwelcoming and overwhelming.... - why would you put a person on the hiring committee who is so unfriendly - Pls dont waste my time for hours if not interested in me - Stop people in their tracks while solving a question - Rude comments and gestures will only divert your candidates Even if I were offered a job, I wasn't feeling good to go and work there....
