Consisted of an interview about my previous experience. A quiz with some math and technical questions, which took place with other applicants. There was a group tour of the facility.

It was quite easy. The interview focused on laboratory skills and how the individual could contribute. Also, there were a few behavioural questions—research on the oil and gas industry and the standards used in petroleum testing.

30 minute english and maths test with some analytical questions to gauge general understanding. This was followed by a relaxed 2-way interview/discussion. It finished with a tour around both labs.
