Applied in Mid March 2024 through Online corp. Workday portal. HR reached out direct after one and scheduled a phone screen review of resume and experience. This was approx. half hour screen interview. HR co-ord. panel interviews with hiring team managers. Panel interviews cancelled twice by team managers due to their own schedule conflicts over two weeks. Panel interviews were a review of experience and behavioural questions, some overview of team and main priorities for the position. They revealed role open due to an internal promo. Radio silence for a month and then at end of April 2024 HR reached back out direct to say that neither internal nor external candidates considered as hiring Management has shifted focus and now wants someone to develop and coach team through change initiatives...... So Intact's hiring management wants underwriters to do their team management work for them. Typical given the internal promo was an Underwriter and now a team manager, but did not expect that they would not consider internal candidates. They have continued to post the same role running still in Jun.2024.
