I applied through linkedin and after getting in touch with recruiter is when my candidature moved forward.
There were total of 6 rounds if you count the initial recruiter screening rounds. 3 rounds with senior/director level folks for 30 mins each. Then I was asked to take a case study and give a presentation on Informatica’s services. After which they called for a review session and asked me to give the presentation again in the manner they wanted. The second presentation also went well and had changes what they advised. Yet, they were expecting with regards to the exact way they work. Then I contacted the recruiter and she let me know that I was not selected.
I mean that is all fine expecting the candidate to be work ready and stuff but you cannot compare the candidate to yourself who has been working for over 14-20years. There is a reason why it is called as an Associate level position, only after training and shadowing is where one will learn the main streamlined process.
Neverthless, found it really fishy.
