Applied online, received voice mail from internal recruiter about a week later. Left return voice mail, no response for 3 days, left another voice message. Began calling daily the next day, not leaving voice mails, just hoping catch him at his desk, which I did on the 2nd day of calling. Had a pleasant 30-minute screen call about the position, at the conclusion of which he advised me the next step would be to complete two tests: a personality test (survey type questions) and a cognitive aptitude test (Mensa test-type pattern recognition and math problems, and some "one of these things is not like the other" questions), the instructions and links for which would arrive via email. Was asked to "Please take these tests ASAP so we can continue to work you through the process." The personality test was typical. The cognitive aptitude test consisted of 50 questions of which you were required to score 31 correct answers within 15 minutes. A link to a practice test was provided. Completed the tests and sent a quick email back to the recruiter to that effect. 3 days later, received an email that I had passed the tests, he would forward my details to the hiring manager, and as soon as he heard back he would advise. No response for 2 weeks, so I sent an email, no response. 2 weeks later, posting this review. Obviously not going to be interviewed by the hiring manager, but I feel that a 30 minute telephone interview and another 30 minutes of testing would warrant at least a phone call or email follow-up on behalf of the recruiter. The experience left me with what Liz Ryan, (CEO of Human Workplace) refers to as a "Grovel, Knave" vibe.
