After a phone screening with a talent acquisition member, I had a video interview and took a writing test, but I was rejected. The process from application to interview result took about six weeks.
I reapplied about six months later since the position was still open. I went to an on-site interview that consisted of a few video interviews followed by in-person interviews. After this second round of consideration, I was told my application would not be proceeding. The process this time around also took about six weeks.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and everyone involved in the interviews made me feel comfortable. I learned a lot about the company, its culture, and why it needs multitalented technical writers. The members of the talent acquisition team in the Ebisu office were very helpful. In particular, the person responsible for my application was very responsive and provided great detail about the interview process and next steps.
