First round was a call with the recruiter, followed by a video call with a VP, followed by a video call with the hiring manager and then 1:1s with 2 of the people on the team and another follow up call from the hiring manager. Overall, the interview process was frustrating given the lack of clarity and direction in the process as it seems like they were honestly trying to figure it out themselves as we went on. In the beginning I was told that there would be a case study as well involved, which luckily was not pursued as they ended up telling me an offer letter was being written up, but the next day had changed and was no longer going to need the role I was being interviewed for. Given the amount of time invested with all the back and forth, I was not even given a proper apology for wasting my time since they were clearly still trying to figure their situation out.
