When the appointment was set up, I was told that I would be there for a bit interviewing with multiple people from different areas of operations. I met with a couple people in a conference room and I was also briefly given a tour as we were waiting for a third person to become available to talk to me. This third person seemed unusually interested in what I did with my time outside of working. He asked multiple times in multiple ways what I "liked to do" in my free time. He reiterated that the company functioned like a family and the right candidate needed to be a "good fit" for the company (not the role). I was cordial and answered with some generic BS because what I do in my own personal time has no bearing on a CSR position. To keep asking about my personal time and life when you may have sensed I was being a little evasive is unprofessional. It was creepy that they were so seemingly fixated. It seemed that my personal time was going to be a factor if I was going to be a "good fit" for the position. My day ended at reception stating I would get a call no matter the decision. No surprise, I was completely ghosted. When I called 2 days later to follow up, I was told someone would call me. They never did.
