The process consists of 5 rounds. First round was Written test it is completely testing questions. It had 30 question in 25 min. I found the time is sufficient. Questions was mostly on Priority and severity (A situation will be given an you have to choose what is priority and severity gven for this) - around 2 ques, Object oriented testing - 2ques, test design techniques like BVA, EP, decision table, state trasition ...etc (60% of ques),HP ALm Excel report (1ques)
Defect lifecycle (resoultions statuses), levels of testing..etc. If you clear the Exam you can o for technical rounds. There where 2 technical round followed by a manager round and HR round. In technical round they asked almost everything i written in the CV and their JD.

Any body who know testing that be a tester but your passion make you success in that. Can ypu please tell if any bug or any process or anything related to testing which you did outstanding and about that you are proud about?

3 rounds 1st: technical on bbt concepts. 2nd: bbt plus SQL 3rd: manager round, scenario based plus aspirations Overall simple and straightforward. Basics must be strong and don't lie. Manual testing and SQl concepts and innovative approach to solution finding is appreciated.

I have attended an Face 2 Face Technical, Managerial and HR Round.
Technical Round for Mainframes Testing goes like this:
Open a e-book on Mainframes and ask questions on each and every topic from first to last. It was not that easy guys. They want associates with 100% knowledge on all the topics listed in JD. I was interviewed on JCL and SQL. For SQL, they have used w3schools website and asked all the topics.
Managerial and HR round were as usual with all known questions like Why you want to change, how much salary etc etc.. But HR who took HR round for me was really furious and very cold person. She never has those interpersonal skills which HR should have. Try controlling your fury and answer with a smile.
But pay was very low which t hey offered me.
