I met with the department head as well as my immediate supervisor. They explained what the company does, the challenges faced and what I could expect if I was to be hired. I shared some of background and relevant experience. They felt I was an ideal candidate for the intern position being offered and they hired me as long as I was able to pass all the mandatory clearances and background checks.
