The interview process at HubSpot could be viewed as challenging, but throughout each step you learn a lot about the company and the role, which helped to know if it would be a good fit.. I applied through an employee referral and was contacted within a week to set up an initial phone screen with a recruiter. After the phone screen, I came in to meet with the recruiter in person and the director of the team I was interviewing for. When I was at the first in-person interview, the recruiter told me he wanted me to move on to the next round. I came back for a longer series of interviews, which included a case study exercise and three interviews with each of the supervisors who could be my manager. The recruiter (David), was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was available to answer questions, and made sure I was as prepared as possible for each round. Everyone I met with was very friendly and personal, and seemed to have a genuine interest in getting to know me as a candidate. One thing that struck me is after asking several people why they like working at HubSpot, they said "I have the opportunity to work with some of the smartest people I know." It's good to see that people really value their co-workers and the work they're doing. While you could describe the process as intense, I really feel like I good feel for the culture at HubSpot and am confident it's going to be a great next step in my career. I couldn't be more excited to join the team.

Fair interview timeframe but once you move up in the interviewing process you’re given a project which you are to present at the final round. You are basically given a scenario much like one you’d have if you were in the role. Your job is to be creative but efficient in your problem solving skills.
