First round: Typical 30-minute chat with recruiter to make sure you're not a crazy person or a bad fit. Second round: At-home coding exercise. 3-hour time cap. Retrieve a set of raw data from a RESTful endpoint. Raw data represents client availability across different office locations. Parse and process that data to determine the time most clients are available per office to hold an event. Submit response to another RESTful endpoint. Third round: 4-hour on-site. First, tour around the office with the recruiter + general chit-chat. Next, technical interview involving JavaScript language specifics. Next, behavioral discussion with Director of Engineering. Next, technical interview testing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Next, technical interview with a more traditional technical interview problem. Last, recap with the recruiter. There was no white boarding. I was able to write real code on my own laptop.
