For an internship there are three stages of application. You send in your application, then you have a skype interview (if you're not in Berlin, otherwise you go to a personal interview) with your manager and at the end you take a logic test. The whole process was very smooth and I never waited longer for an answer than I was told.
During my time at HomeToGo I experienced that the head of all departments put a lot of thought into HR decisions, to find the right people for the right job. I personally got offered another internship than I applied for because the CEO thought it would fit my profile better.!

Pregunta 1
I did not have a lot of experience in the field of vacation rentals, thus I was not asked a lot of questions concerning the field. My manager asked questions about my IT knowledge and quantitative abilities to make sure I have the basic knowledge to do the job. Apart from that, the main questions were regarding my motivation and my knowledge about the company, which was really the most important part. So, having your motivation straight and being able to tell exactly why you want the job and why you are fit to do the job are important, whereas it is alway better to admit, that you're not that experienced and stress your willingness to learn than to lie!
For the logic test you get 15 mathmatical tasks that you need to solve in 15 minutes. With Abitur maths it's easy to solve, the only problem is the time management. Here it is absolutely necessary to go for quality instead of quantity!

First interview with Talen Sourcing/HR. Greatest interview I've had in a while! This person was extremely thoughtful and showed that an interview can also be very fun and personal whilst still being professional. I felt extremely comfortable answering the questions and what surprised me the most was the interviewers empathy and attention to respecting me as a human being. Great TA/HR team, kudos to HomeToGo!

My first interview was on Skype with the Manager.
Then I had to do an assignment on Excel for them to see whether I knew the basics (if you took a course in Computer Science at your University this is not a problem for you)

for an internship, the process was very long, took about two months .
Seems a bit unorganized since the company just got funding and is in a growing phase.
the steps were phone interview, a 1:1 and an IQ test (that they made clear has no influence in the hiring process so i don't know what is it's purpose) and then a skills test.
