I walked in looking for a maintenance position. I was asked if I could do the front desk position. My answer was " i don't know. The next day the GM called me to offer me training and the night auditor position and I through necessity accepted.

The hiring manager brought me into the back office to look over my resume from Indeed and he said he was impressed by my background in account receivables and front desk at another Holiday Inn. We spent about 20 minutes discussing my background and then he offered me the position. He was a little bit disorganized with getting my paperwork together especially the W 4 information, but I think it was because he was still being trained in his position.
