El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Hitachi (Dallas, TX) en jun 2011
Entrevista
Interview was relatively straightforward. Interviewer was a process engineer in the same division, which was nice since he knew the work. However, he spent approximately the first 15 minutes simply talking about the company and the job, things that I had largely already researched. We then spent about 30 minutes talking about my experience and he went through the standard questions. No surprises, no real technical questions. Interviewer said the interview went well but they got back to me about 6 weeks later to say they went with someone else.

Interview was very focused on my background as it isn't in semiconductors or manufacturing. He asked numerous questions about how my engineering background could be applied to their business. He also asked how I would deal with a situation in which it was impossible to meet customer expectations.
Smooth. Took about 2-3 months from applying to offer. Interview was pleasant experience. Interviewers were understanding for lack of knowledge about technical questions. Behavioral questions were related to working in a team setting.
Seem to only care about your salary requirement. Asked you a question about their company and what they do. Tells you a little about the job. Do not seem interested.

This was for Hitachi America. Two people interview you with a brief presentation on the roles of a process engineer first. Easy basic interview questions were asked. They assumed you did not know anything about the process and what they do at compant.
