7+ interviews required for the role, on the 3rd round they give you give a vague, open-ended technical assessment. The hiring manager opened the interview by saying they didn’t actually know much about the scenario, since it predated their time at the company. Despite that, they pressed for highly specific answers at a very granular level, clearly judging your answers (and/or) lack their of, when that wasn't how they told you it would be assessed.
At the end of the interview, I asked what the correct responses were to some of their questions. They admitted they didn’t know, and explained the scenario never actually occurred, and that the company in the scenario never purchased Hightouch, as it's not one of their use cases. What a bad prompt.....Interviewee's style came across as aggressive and disconnected from the technical prompt provided, High Touch does not set candidates up for success.
Coming out of this interview, I would have decided to not move forward if offered an additional interview. They don't value your time.

Entrevista
The interview process consisted of initial screening, hiring manager interview, and then a technical assessment. While I withdrew my application after the technical assessment due to a competing offer, I can't say enough good things about my experience throughout the process. Every step of the way, the team was reaching out to me to make sure I felt I had all the information I needed and felt prepared. They were generous with their time and were very engaging. It was clear from the beginning that they are invested in helping candidates succeed, should they be the right fit, versus letting candidates figure things out on an island like some other companies do. If this competing offer hadn't come up out of the blue like it did for me, I would have happily continued my pursuit to join Hightouch. The technical assessment was particularly exciting for me as I enjoy solution design discussions and the back-and-forth of working through all the different possibilities and their implications. Great team, great energy, fantastic candidate experience!

The questions were the type that you would expect in a Solution Engineer technical evaluation. It was clear that they were evaluating HOW I think about problems and my ability to communicate my perspective. Questions like, why would the data need to reside in this system, where would you do the transformations, explain the timings of the solution you proposed, etc?

Entrevista
The interview process was quite poor, I waited 10 minutes for the interviewer to join the interview. She was not prepared for the interview, she was distracted and interrupted during the interview. 2nd follow-up interview was also not pleasant, interviewer had such a nonchalant attitude like he was doing me a favour speaking with me. In the end, I was rejected, I asked for feedback and got nothing back.
