Since applying for Hertz last week, I can say that the hiring process moves pretty swiftly because I received a phone interview two days ago and went in for the interview today. The person interviewing as an area manager who seemed polite and straight forward about the day-to-day duties of a manager in training with a non-airport location site. He also explained the process to becoming a manager if one successfully completes the program between 9 months to a year. The next step after the 1st face-to-face interview is a 2nd face-to-face interview with the supervisor of the area manager who first interviewed me in person.

I could say the most difficult question could be why Hertz? There were several ways of answering this question without seeming fake, so I took the direct approach and mostly focused my response on the fact that Hertz is a company that offers opportunities for growth and that it really does care about its employees which is for the most part perhaps true especially since the area manager says that in 4 years of working with Hertz, he has not seen one person get laid-off. According to the area manager, Hertz seems like a company that strives to listen to their employees especially since the employees are the ones who are in the trenches day in and day out.
Had a good interview. Arrived early for my interview. Regional manager arrived to interview me and was impressed I arrived early. It was a straight forward interview and discussion on the job details and my background in sales.

Entrevista
I applied and on the same day the recruiter reached out to me with an email to set up an interview. I selected a date and time that was available that worked for me. After I scheduled my interview she reached out to me by phone to make sure I understood where the interview was happening and gave me her contact info incase I needed to get ahold of her.
The day of my interview the manager was not there so I contacted the recruiter and she contacted the manager and the manager was there just a few minutes later. The manager was nice and did a good job explaining the job. I received an offer and felt good about accepting it.

Entrevista
I got called into The Villages, FL branch for an interview. I drove 30 minutes and arrived a little early. When I went inside the people told me the Manager was not available and was in meetings all day and they would reschedule. This is nowhere close to following their values "We put people first". Going forward, I would never work for this company and the Manager needs to dealt with for using people.
