Everyone was pretty nice throughout the process. However, the interview process dragged on for over a month with 5 interviews. I was pretty confident after the 3rd interview that I wouldn’t get offered the role (and also wasn’t sure that I would accept), but decided to see where the process would take me.
They really wouldn’t answer any questions about salary, but from what I could gather, it seemed low paying for the role. I’m in a similar role now and when I shared that I would be looking for about 10% over my current salary, they asked if that was negotiable. The role seemed to be covering a very large market (50+) branches for low pay. I found that interesting considering the experience required for the role is all over the place. One person in one market could be fresh out of college with 1 year experience, and another could have 7-10 years experience. However, pay seemed pretty low across the board.
The company seems to be experiencing a lot of growth which is very positive. However, with many new processes they don’t have best practices established. There will be lots of changes, so this role is best suited for someone who is extremely adaptable and doesn’t need a structured/organized environment.
Overall, the experience was pretty neutral. I don’t have any strong feelings positive or negative. Interviewing with this company did help me realize that I don’t have it so bad at my company.
