Entrevista
I applied for the position through career services at my school, went to an information session held by two Halliburton recruiters, and had a 1-1 interview the following day. The interview was IMO a bit more intense than a similar interview with Schlumberger. He asked a long list of personality/behavior type questions.
I was contacted about a week later and asked to fill out some additional information including criminal background, driving record, and position/location preferences. Then a couple weeks later I was contacted by the Casper, WY Sperry Drilling office asking if I would like to fly out for a two-day interview. I accepted and about a week before the interview I was again contacted with flight information. The trip out consisted of meeting the other applicants and the regional manager over dinner before heading back to the hotel for the night. In the morning, we were shuttled (almost 2 dozen of us total) to the Sperry facility, fed breakfast, given a presentation, a short tour of the facility, lunch, and then we went in for 1-on-3 interviews with their engineers. The interview was much more relaxed than the first. I felt that it was more about them seeing if I fit in and if I could handle the job and less about how intelligent or capable of an engineer I was. Unfortunately, I think it all came down to the question when they asked me how bad I wanted to work for Halliburton on a scale of 1-10 and I was mistakenly brutally honest with them.
I think I wanted to position about as bad as most of the other guys. I just think they were more willing to lie in order to get an offer. It would be a decent entry-level job if your willing to put up with being away from home 10 months out of the year working in pretty miserable positions for a fat paycheck. There are pros and cons to that type of work but I think the cons won out for me at this point in my life.

There are three days campus recruitment process. Starting from written test in day 1, FGD in day 2, and, short interview in day 3. FGD was pretty casual, you'll be given 15 minutes to discuss a case, and depends on when your turn on presenting is, 1-2 hours to solidate the case outside while waiting for presentation turn. If you pass, you'll get into user interview the next day.

After passing the admin screening, I attended the psychometric/aptitude test at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. The test was conducted entirely online on our own devices; the venue had weak mobile signal and there was no option to take the test on paper, so a lot of time was lost just connecting and loading questions.
