Absolutely chaotic and unplanned. Very disorganised and siloed. The recruiter for the role was based in Dubai, the team lead in Texas, USA, the line manager in Brazil, and the role was based in Cambridge, UK. The final round of the interview was scheduled with less than 24 hours' notice. The recruiter was just out of touch and did the bare minimum to even reply to my emails asking questions regarding the interview. He only mentioned that I would have to prepare a presentation for the meeting with the hiring manager after I asked him twice. The hiring manager was under the impression that the recruiter had spoken with me earlier, before my call with him. Despite sitting through the final round of interviews, I received an automated rejection email. After that, I followed up multiple times with the recruiter to see if he could provide any reasons or explanation for the rejection, but all I got was radio silence.
