Applied through HP portal. 5 Months of interview process. 7 rounds of interviews, including interview with the Technical Carrier Board. HP did a detailed review of all contributions for the last 12 years.
Passed all interviews and the board concluded it "recommendation to hire".
When the final offer took too long, it came out that there is no longer a real position and I may need to wait a half a year if there is an actual job opening.
