Interview was after passing their tax course, which is about 30 hours. Interview was a formality as they will hire just about anyone who passes their course or had tax prep experience.

I took their Basic Tax course, passed the test, and filled out an application. I was impressed with my instructor and thought I would like to try the job on a part-time basis. The area and district managers seemed nice but their dress was not as professional as I would expect.

Entrevista
Upon completing the application through the H&R Block website , I followed up with a call to their office and spoke with a preparer to schedule my interview. I interviewed with two preparers who had a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. They were very welcoming and kind. They asked me about my prior work experience and spoke to me about their experience and backgrounds. It felt more like a conversation than the usual feeling of an interrogative interview, which I liked. They also allowed space for me to ask questions. It was an amazing interview process.
