I went through two phone screenings with Gorton’s, which went smoothly, and was then invited onsite. The company arranged my hotel, flights, and car service, and confirmed that all travel-related expenses (including Uber and meals) would be reimbursed.
The onsite consisted of back-to-back interviews with HR, the food science team, and a VP. While everyone was professional, the process felt disorganized—many of the same questions were repeated multiple times, suggesting a lack of coordination in their system.
Unfortunately, after the interviews, communication completely stopped. Despite HR confirming reimbursements, I had to submit my expense form twice, and after two months I still haven’t received any reimbursement or responses.
Overall, while the initial stages seemed promising, the experience ended with ghosting and an unresolved reimbursement issue.
